The Full Story
Sarp Kayali is a multidisciplinary creative director, art director, photographer, and visual artist with more than 20 years of international experience across Los Angeles, Istanbul, and Canada. His work spans fashion, luxury branding, editorial design, advertising, photography, and architecture, combining strong visual storytelling with strategic creative direction.
After studying Business at the University of Glamorgan in the United Kingdom, he pursued Design and Visual Communications at the American InterContinental University in Los Angeles, where he studied under Bauhaus advocate Tom Schorer. This foundation strongly influenced his approach to visual structure, typography, and conceptual clarity.
Throughout his career, Kayali has led creative campaigns, developed brand identities, and directed multidisciplinary visual productions across multiple industries, including fashion, beauty, pharmaceutical, real estate, and commercial advertising. His background includes leadership roles in Los Angeles, Istanbul, and Canada, managing projects from concept development to final execution.
In parallel with his commercial work, he has maintained an active fine art and photography practice, with exhibitions and published works in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. His experience in fashion photography extends beyond image-making into full campaign development, combining photography, art direction, visual identity, and creative production.
His multidisciplinary approach also expanded into luxury residential design projects along the Mediterranean coast, integrating architecture, interior design, branding, and visual aesthetics into cohesive living concepts.
Today, Sarp Kayali’s work is defined by a balance between artistic sensibility and commercial creative direction, shaped by an international background and cross-disciplinary experience.
